PreOp didn't start as a plastic surgery company. It started with a problem we kept running into in our aesthetic services work: clients coming in for facials and skin treatments would ask, almost as an aside, about plastic surgery — and have no idea where to start or who to trust.

Too often, the answer they found on their own was whichever surgeon had the biggest following, not necessarily the one right for their case, budget, or goals. We watched people commit thousands of dollars and months of recovery to a decision made with almost no real information.

So we built PreOp, an independent research service that does the vetting most people don't have the time, access, or professional network to do themselves.

Checking credentials and disciplinary history against public record, talking directly to practices, and cross-referencing real patient experience — so that by the time you talk to a surgeon, you're already asking the right questions.

We've researched more than 100 surgeons across New York City. No surgeon or clinic pays us for placement, and none ever will. We work for you, not for them.
